Who does what with the footage

You are the controller of the footage you upload and of the decision to release it. We process it only to redact it on your instructions, as your processor. We ask for a data processing agreement before any organisation relies on the service, and will sign yours or send ours.

Footage is processed by AEY Cloud, our own processing platform. It is kept until you delete it: delete the original from the case once the redacted copy is out. Deleting a case deletes its footage and its redacted video.

Review before release

Faces and number plates are found automatically, and detection is not perfect. You must watch the redacted video before releasing it, and draw boxes over anything that was missed. The redaction log records who reviewed each release.

Plans and minutes

Plans are monthly and priced by the minutes of footage analysed. Unused minutes don’t roll over. Manage or cancel a plan from the billing page.
